D.N.Angel

D.N.Angel by Yukiru Sugisaki is a Romantic, fantasy that is well illustrated and fun to read. The manga starts off with Daisuke on his fourteenth birthday when his whole life changes. He tries to tell the girl of his dreams he likes her but fails and is then thrown into the family secret so that whenever he thinks about the girl he likes he changes into Dark, the phantom theft who steals world famous pieces of art. Daisuke has to deal with trying not to turn into dark, being with the girl of his dreams, and finding out why these pieces of art are so important while Dark is trying to have a life of his own.

This manga is fun, the concept is interesting and my explanation makes more sense if you flip through the first chapter of the manga, the main characters DNA changes so he turns into a whole'nother person, Dark. The romantic aspect of it is very cute, daisuke has a crush on the female character Riku while Riku's twin sister, Risa, gets a glance at daisuke's alter ego Dark and is then infatuated with him. Darks adventures with stealing the pieces of art are very fun and clever too, hes always outsmarting the Japanese police force and is also trying to be caught by Daisukes classmate Satoshi. Its worth reading if you have the time, and the illustration is really wonderful so much fun to look at as well. The anime doesn't do much for me compared to the manga, I watched every episode and wasn't impressed, so protastic Grade: B
